I am very happy with Angelina - the reason it is called Angelina is because as the basis for consistancy I recorded every song on this album to include use of a particular synthesizor sound called "Angelina". It is a gentle, swirly and very subtle synth choir patch that for some reason I just love and so decided to use over and over for an entire album.
The songs are all instrumental and feature my electric and acoustic guitars, various drums and percussion, real and synth basses and "Angelina" - all performed "live" , meaning each track you hear was played from beginning to end in real time - so as to give Angelina a real organic live feel - but chilled and evened out somehow by Angelina. I really feel I held nothing back on these tunes and yet also... held back too LOL
I love this album played both loud and softly and I hope you do too!

This is my most recent project to date - I have been playing with soft synths all year long! For the most part I pay no attention to the "genre's" and I blend my beats, basslines, pads and leads everywhich way. I tend to lean more towards downtempo and chill, but really I just love to dabble with sound and here I have put together a collection of some of my favorites from my many wonderful late night experiments this year! This project features only very sparse guitar (if any) and features, instead, electronic instrumentation - and also I did play real bass on some tunes. I like the way this album makes me feel when I just put it in and let it loop fer a couple of hours - check it out! ;)
I dedicate this project to "the kids" - my neighbors back at the turn of the century LOL - meaning in 2000 - Dani, Jaimie, Scotty, Billy, Sarah, Penny, Shamon, Aaron and the rest - they turned me on to electronic music (mostly they were listening to faster tempo stuff - like trance and techno) - but really I think of them often with much love and I really have found dabbling with electronic music to bring a whole new world of infinity to me!!
