I believe that music is a powerful source for healing - in all aspects of body, mind and soul. Through the years I have created much music for this purpose. I will be expanding on this topic right here on this page in the future with helpful thoughts and music to share.
This music is designed for meditation and affirmation. Try recording your affirmation and then setting it to the music bed and listening to it once a day for a week or so!

This is a CD recording project I did in March of 2000. It is one of my personal favorites. Basically, what I did was to set Timothy Leary's guided meditation to music.
I recorded this using (2) old 4 track cassette recorders and using only "low fi" Casio keyboards and my guitar. Many of the music tracks were layered in odd ways and I used backwards tracks. Also, I intentionally distorted Leary's voice slightly and put an echo on it in parts and mixed it quite low... with the thought that the listener would need to achieve an extreme sense of focus in order to "follow the journey".
I am happy with the result and to this day have had profound experiences (to say the least) with this recording. I am happy to share it.
I am seeking permission to make this available for download, but have not yet determined who exactly to contact. Interesting to note that the last time I went to Timothy Leary's official website all I found was a 30 second video clip of him working at his desk! (try www.leary.com).
I am making this available for streaming at this time, but will wait in hopes of securing proper permission to make available to download.
If you choose to take the journey with focused intention...I might recommend setting aside a few spare hours to "acclimate"... his guidance is ... well... profound.

In the 2010 version I chopped up and looped Tim's voice a little differently in the opening segment and added several more layers of virtual synth strings, voices and effects.

This CD was a collaboration with Holly May West and Sal Rota (with exception of the Introduction which is a Haven solo composition). The CD was our xmas gift to friends and family in 2007. We designed it for relaxation/meditation or easy listening. I recall enjoying it on a mountain drive as we passed a waterfall!

This project is what I deem "audio therapy". It is something I do for myself to help "practice" forming and holding my thoughts consciously in order to create the experiences of personal joy and fulfillment.
It could be considered kind of like a musical guided meditation or perhaps a spiritual pep rally! LOL
